This project entailed the construction of the second stage of the 10th of Ramadan Urban Ring Road from 10th of Ramadan City to Belbis City, stretching over 27 km. The road consists of 8 lanes in total, 4 in each direction, in addition to 4 lanes service road, with 2 lanes in each direction. Work included laying a 30 cm thick aggregate base course, a 7 cm thick bituminous base course, a 6 cm thick binder course, and a 5 cm wearing course. Civil construction work included culverts, and reinforced concrete bridges on pile foundation with a length of 20,000 m, and a diameter ranging from 60 cm to 100 cm. The work included concrete barriers, side slope protection, lighting works, and traffic and ambulance centers.
