The Upper Railway Rehabilitation project modernized and renovated the railways and switches located between Beni Suef, Asyut, and Nagaa Hammadi. The project’s scope of work included lifting and renewing rails and switches, installing new switches, renovation, and extension of existing bridges to accommodate the new rails and switches, welding all current and new rails with long lines and station yards, assembling and installing adhesive insulating bolts at the sites specified by the authority, and maintenance of rails and switches.
