By founding the Industrial Development Group (IDG), Samcrete started getting into the industrial development world. IDG was established to serve and promote the future of industrial development in the region through sustainability and high quality services. It has successfully redefined the industrial development concept in its strategically located projects: e2 October, East Port Said Industrial Zone-EP and e2 Alamein, with a total land-bank of 22 km2.

EP is strategically located over 16 Mn m² within East Port Said Economic Zone at the northern end of the Suez Canal which is getting developed to stand out as a major transshipment hub and a thriving gateway port with dedicated multi-modal logistics through its bilateral and multilateral trade agreements with Europe, Africa and the Middle East, guaranteeing accessibility to a large international market of nearly 2 Bn consumers. EP will be offering around 400,000 job opportunities through 1,200 factories.

Aiming to promote the future of business improvement, Samcrete’s industrial arm - IDG, is easing the process of establishing a manufacturing facility by offering its prebuilt factories for smes and young entrepreneurs as well as tailored land plots - which is spread over 3.1 million m² in the 6th of October City - to deliver comprehensive tailored industrial units as well as office spaces that allow the established entities to present within a professional frame to meet the investors' business goals as per the business requirements starting from design to implementation and everything in between.
